Program Fundraising
The following fundraisers benefit the entire Sheldon Volleyball program as a whole. The proceeds from these events allow us to fund transportation and equipment as well as many other expenses.
Irish Volleyball Camps: Volleyball camps are offered for children in Kindergarten through high school. This includes general volleyball camps, as well as specialty skill camps. Visit the CAMPS link for more information and registration forms.
Oregon Duck Football Concessions: The teams work home Duck football games. Players earn money for their teams each game they work. 1 Parent from each family of the working team must attend that game as well.
Kidsports Camps: Through Kidsports, our student athletes run a one day skills camp for children in 3rd through 8th grades. Visit KIDSPORTS for dates and details of camps offered.
Apparel Sales: Sheldon Volleyball Gear is available for purchase at all home matches or can be ordered through any Sheldon Volleyball student athlete. Prices and designs vary.
Sheldon Community Cards: Money Earned for the entire Athletic Program The Sheldon Community Card is on a pre-paid basis. Each card is ordered from Sheldon High School for $10.00 and sold for $10.00. The Community Card features a variety of discounts for businesses and restaurants all over the Sheldon area. The purchase is quickly reimbursed by the savings. There is no individual benefit from this fundraiser, but it helps ALL Programs! Cards will be available for pick up in August, but you can take orders now.

Individual Fundraising
The following fundraiser opportunities are provided to help each individual athlete cope with the expenses on playing organized sports. All Individual Fundraising materials may be picked up at the summer meeting on June 9th: New Player Meeting, 6:00-6:30pm, and Veteran Meeting, 6:30-7:00pm.
Apparel Fundraiser: Player earns back 10% of total apparel sales towards Spirit Pack. Apparel Order Forms are available for players to use. All Orders (with money) are due August 16th to be considered eligible for the fundraiser. Any order turned in after that date does not qualify for the 10% towards your Spirit Pack.
- Spirit Pack: This is the assortment of practice apparel that players must purchase if they make a team with Sheldon Volleyball. Full payment is expected on Parent Night, August 27th, 2010. The Spirit Pack consists of 2 practice T-shirts, 2 pairs of practice shorts, and a sweatshirt. The players are expected to wear these items to EVERY practice prior to competition days. The estimated expense of the Spirit Pack is well over $100, but because of our successful fundraising we are able to offer it for only $100. Fundraising will decrease the $100 amount.
Shamrock Soap: Up to $1.50 is earned for every bar of soap sold. Shamrock Soap is on a pre-paid basis, meaning that you purchase a group of 10 or 20 soaps from Sheldon Volleyball for $3.75 or $3.50, when the Fundraiser price is $5.00. You do not need to turn any of the fundraised money in after you have purchased the original product. All profits are yours to keep and you may use them towards your Spirit Pack, or any other Athletic fees. You may buy as many or as few groups of 10 as you like to use for fundraising. There is no due date on this fundraiser; however it is only available while supplies last. Soaps are available in a variety of fragrances.
