Sheldon Volleyball

The Fighting Irish are coached by Head Coach Kandice Feola who is in her sixth year of coaching at Sheldon. In 2006 Kandice coached the Junior Varsity, and assumed her role as Head Varsity Coach in 2007. Last season the Irish won their Southwestern Conference Hybrid and then went on to earn a 5th place trophy at the State Tournament.

The Varsity team will be returning 9 outstanding athletes including 1st Team All-League, Senior Middle Natalee Godfrey, 2nd Team All-League, Junior Hitter Shelby McCool, Honorable Mention Junior Setter Sam Rouleau, Seniors Natalie Kruska, Laken Johnson, and Juniors Sophia Roberts, and Sabrina Wheelhouse.

Allix Strahon, former Sheldon Volleyball player, will be entering her second year as our JV1 Head Coach and in charge of our summer conditioning programs.

Norm Combs will be entering his 11th year with the Irish and is undoubtedly the glue that keeps this program together. He handles the JV2 team with high expectations and technical coaching that sets us up for continued success year after year. We are very fortunate!

Summer Camper Night: All Irish Volleyball Campers in grades K-8 who wear their 2011 Camp T-shirt will get in FREE

Popcorn Night: The first 50 people to pay admission will receive one FREE popcorn after the second game

Poster Night: Every fan will be able to take home a FREE Sheldon Volleyball seasonal poster and get it signed AFTER the match!

Red Robin Raffle Night: The raffle tonight will offer 1 lucky winner a chance to win a $25 Gift Certificate to Red Robin Restaurant

Lucky Charm Night: The Varsity will be throwing Lucky Charm T-shirts into the crowd, plus everyone who wears their 2008 or 2009 Lucky Charm shirt will get in FREE

Breast Cancer Week: Tonight's game will benefit Breast Cancer Research. All raffle proceeds and a percentage of Concessions will be donated. There will also be some specific items available for auction.

Senior Night: Tonight we honor our 5 amazing seniors! Come share your support for them and their last Home Sheldon Volleyball match.

Tossers: Varsity players throw a FAN T-Shirt to the crowd

Kill Count: When Varsity reaches 20 kills in the match, the first 10 people to the Concessions receive 1 FREE Popcorn

Raffle: There is a 50/50 Raffle prize meaning that the winner will take home 50% of the raffle earnings
